TERMS & CONDITIONS
All sales made by Scrapcode Modular are bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms or understand them in full then you should not purchase or use products from Scrapcode Modular.
Customers must use a valid, regularly monitored email address when placing an order, and agree to read any correspondence sent by Scrapcode Modular.
The customer agrees that the safe and successful assembly, fitting, powering, calibration and usage of all Scrapcode Modular products is their own responsibility as soon as it has been unpackaged and has come into contact with any tools or other electronic equipment.
The customer is responsible for any damage caused to other equipment, property or persons that a Scrapcode Modular product is connected to. Scrapcode Modular are not liable if you injure yourself or others, or damage property during the construction or use of products purchased from Scrapcode Modular.
While Scrapcode Modular will do our best to support DIY Kit builds wherever possible, this is done as a gesture of goodwill towards the customer and does not imply any form of guarantee. Support cannot be given where parts supplied by any other manufacturer are used, or where products are modified or used in any way other than as described by Scrapcode Modular’s documentation.
Customers outside of the UK are liable for all import formalities including but not limited to customs duties, taxes and VAT. If returning items for any reason the customer will be liable for all export formalities. Any refunds will be reduced by the amount of any import costs which need to be paid by Scrapcode Modular.
Returns must not be made without first emailing returns@scrapcode.co.uk and receiving instructions on how to return. Unsolicited returns will not be accepted.
Scrapcode Modular will not be liable for refunds where an order has been delivered to the wrong address due to incorrect information being given by the customer when ordering. This also applies if the customer is not in residence at the given address (for example they have moved or are on holiday) when the order is due to be delivered.
PO BOX addresses are used entirely at the customer’s own risk, and no responsibility will be taken by Scrapcode modular for failed deliveries to PO BOX addresses.
All refunds and replacements to non-UK customers are entirely at the discretion of Scrapcode Modular, and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Scrapcode Modular reserve the right to cancel any order within 3 days of the order being placed. They reserve the right to refuse sales to companies or individuals involved in the security and defence industries.
If you buy a Scrapcode Modular product as a gift or sell it to a third party you are responsible for making the new owner aware of these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
PRIVACY POLICY
Scrapcode Modular adhere to UK laws on the protection of customers’ personal data and will never sell or provide any personal information to any third party.
Scrapcode Modular do not collect customers’ financial details. All payments and associated details are dealt with via WIX Payments or PayPal, whichever is chosen at checkout.
